If you’re like most, dentistry is the furthest thing from exciting. You’ll certainly have an interest in maintaining the health of your teeth and preserving a pearly white smile, but that’s probably about the extent of it. Here at Olympic Village Dental, however, Dr. Mehrdad Ezzati and his team are passionate about dentistry and excited to offer the entire spectrum of dental health services – including the most advanced cosmetic and restorative dental procedures – to patients at our new Olympic Village Dental Office located in Vancouver’s newest vibrant community just across False Creek.
Dr. Mehrdad Ezzati, General Dentist, began practicing dentistry in 1997 at Atlantis Dental in Vancouver’s Yaletown. The slogan at Atlantis was “tomorrow’s dentistry, today”, and 20 years later that tomorrow is very much here. Dr. Ezzati is eager to make the all of the impressive advancements in dental technology available to his patients as needed.
Dr. Ezzati also lives in Olympic Village and is proud to count many of his neighbours as patients.
His aim is to establish Olympic Village Dental as Vancouver’s premiere high-tech dental office, where technology is paired with expertise and a genuinely caring approach for each individual.
This aim is a smart one, as increasing numbers of young professionals now reside in Olympic Village and nearby neighbourhoods. These individuals value their time very much, and trust technology more so than older generations. Olympic Village Dental has designed their practice with this in mind and intends to put themselves at the forefront for this type of clientele. “These younger men and women want to get in, get the work done, and resume their daily lives” says Dr. Ezzati, “and our technology and expertise allows us to provide that for them.”
Last but not least, every patient can expect open, direct, and honest communication from Dr. Ezzati and his staff regarding prognosis, expectations, time requirements and costs. He practices as if every patient is a family member, taking their best interests to heart on a personal level. That’s the mark of a good dentist in Vancouver or anywhere else for that matter, and it’s a big part of the exceptional service and dentistry excellence you’ll enjoy at Olympic Village Dental.
Dr. Cornel Gabor, General Dentist, graduated from McGill Dental School in 2010. He then moved to Vancouver to complete a one year General Practice Residency at UBC, where he further trained in sedation, surgery, and provided care to underprivileged communities in BC and abroad.
Dr. Gabor strives for high quality work and is always trying to improve himself by staying current with new techniques and technologies. He attends numerous continuing education courses and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics (CARDP). He is also dedicated to teaching dental students, which he has done at McGill for the past 4 years.
Dr. Gabor is excited to be joining the excellent team at Olympic Village Dental and is happy to be practicing in the community in which he lives. “Surrounding myself in a dental office with like-minded people with similar goals and qualities is the way to provide patients with the highest standard of care and an overall heightened patient experience.”
When he is not at the office, Dr. Gabor enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, and snowboarding. He also enjoys travelling as he is always looking for a new part of the world to explore.
